Died March 20, 2017 in North Oaks, MN at the age of 97. Born July 24, 1919 in Ironton, MN, Shirley
lived most of her adult life in the Twin Cities. Shirley, a graduate of the University of Minnesota,
taught second grade in the St. Paul Public Schools. She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur
William McNee Jr. and brother, Robert Lundbohm. She is survived by her daughter, Robin (John)
Joyce of Oak Park IL, her son, Bill (Nancy) McNee of North Oaks MN, grandchildren Sarah Joyce, Eric
Joyce and Peter McNee and six great grandchildren. A private gathering of remembrance will be held
this summer.
